Homeade Bourbon Final Post
It's now July 9th and I'm going to give up on the homemade bourbon. While it has a nice initial flavor, and looks good in the glass, the final taste you get is of Everclear (the main ingredient). At this point, it makes more sense for me to just buy the bourbon that I like. :) The bourbon barrel is a cool looking bar topper that I will definitely keep! As well, I've heard that you can take some of the lesser bourbons and let them mature in the barrel for more interesting flavors. Cheers! Derek
